Dee is a multi-disciplinary artist from Wyoming and Alaska. They graduated with their BFA in 2020 and apprenticed under their uncle. Though their interests are varied, they always return to the connection between landscape and the self as their inspiration.
Old techniques, new design
Every item is hand made by the artist. This ensures that processes are as environmentally friendly as possible. Precious metals are always recycled, and stones are ethically sourced.
Many of the methods used at High Altitude Jewelry have been in use for hundreds of years, but the products most certainly are not. Dee views metal as an ideal artistic medium for sculpture, wearable art, and fine jewelry.
